Our group boarded the trolley eager to learn about the history of Savannah. We sat in the front of the trolley because we wanted to be sure not to miss any of the interesting facts we would be told.
I would like to say I enjoyed the tour, that our tour guide was well informed about the history of Savannah, unfortunately we could understand very little of what he said. He spoke very quickly and mumbled his words, but the main issue was that the clarity of the speaker in the trolley was awful. Multiple passengers let the driver know that we could not understand what he was saying. He tried turning the speaker up, but it did not help. Disgusted, We finally just got off the trolley and walked around the city. At the end of the day, a lovely woman picked us and she was so easy to understand, her speaker was crystal clear. She told us about the dinosaur and crystal exhibit at the Marriott which we did the next day.
It was unfortunate that we didn't start the day with her.
