We did the hop-on, hop-off in early June and found it very enjoyable. Because we did get off a couple of times, we wound up with 4 different drivers. Each one brought different strengths to the presentation. An added bonus was actors who boarded the bus at different points and gave short presentations. Most notably, the pirate at the Pirate House restaurant was very personable and, as we waited after lunch, he chatted with our group for 15 or 20 minutes. Because we had time, we did the entire tour to get an idea of what the sights were, then did the tour a second time and did the hop-on, hop-off.

My sister & I had about 4 hours to explore Savannah before catching a flight. We chose Old Savannah Tours as our way to see the city with our limited time. One caveat -- with our limited time, we didn't plan to get off at any stops. So we didn't experience any wait times for the next trolley to arrive. In fact, on our tour, most of the passengers rode along the entire tour just like us. We had a great driver who was very informative and had lots of great stories and information to share. If we were staying to Savannah longer, I would definitely do this tour as a first overview of the city. Our driver gave us a lot of information that would be helpful if you had time to visit spots after the tour. Highly recommend as a great way to quickly get an overview of beautiful Savannah.

Enjoyed the hop on hop off tour. Will recommend to family and friends. Rode with 4 different hosts all were very interesting.
