Granted… he is not on the Strip, ticket prices were cheap and still available last minute, and it’s a small venue- so that should have said enough about the performance already, but we remained hopeful in light of the reviews. His act was very much scripted… it had to go along with a pre-set video he had. Many of his hypnosis tricks and antics were seen and done by others before, nothing seemed original. He had to rally the audience frequently, the laughs and enthusiasm just didn’t seem natural, very much forced. Even his small “encore”, was pre-determined, the video was already cued; just seemed like the “trick” he was saving for last. Been to other shows where it’s a bigger production…. Does not seem to have pre-recorded video, the hypnotist cues his AV guys to play music that will trigger his hypnotized guests. Lastly, he reintroduced his assistant who turns out to be his wife for a final hypnosis session. She plays a violin- badly, so bad she still needs marker tapes on her violin to tell her where to place her fingers for the keys- it just seemed very odd and out of place. Just overall, nothing original or creative, and forced enthusiasm from the audience. Would definitely not recommend to others.

Hello,
I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it as much as everyone else.
I am confused about the pre-set videos though. We have many different things we do in shows. I have music, mostly with video, for many of our routines since it adds another layer of production. My sound and light team are very professional and know what to prepare as I set up the routine. This is true for anyone who uses music or video for their shows.
That my assistant is my wife should be pretty well known through out the show. I always introduce her as such.
You seem to know about playing instruments, so yes she uses marker tape. With an audience, and people still on stage and things moving around her, she uses the tape to always make sure she is ready no matter what else happens.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Las Vegas.
All the best
Kevin
