Przegląd
This self-guided GPS audio tour brings to life the land, the towns, the people, and history to the places and sights you pass as you travel along Interstate 55 from St. Louis, MO to Springfield, IL. It transforms a monotonous ride into an stimulating, enjoyable, and no longer boring journey.

Czego oczekiwać
1
Stanowe miejsce historyczne Cahokia Mounds
2
Cmentarz Górników Unii
Jednym z najbardziej znanych orędowników praw górników była Matka Jones. Była kiedyś nazywana najniebezpieczniejszą kobietą w Ameryce. Zmarła w 1930 roku i została pochowana na cmentarzu Union Miners Cemetery w Mount Olive, jedynym cmentarzu będącym własnością związku w Stanach Zjednoczonych.
3
Antyczne centrum handlowe Pink Elephant
W Livingston wita nas Pink Elephant Antique Mall, z ogromnymi mężczyznami, kobietami z włókna szklanego, rożkami lodowymi, latającym spodkiem i oczywiście różowymi słoniami.
4
Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site
A prehistoric civilization best known for the large earthen mounds they left behind lived here. The civilization thrived here for 600 years before mysteriously disappearing sometime before 1350 CE. The center of their civilization was dominated by Monk’s Mound, the largest prehistoric earthen construction in the Americas.
5
Union Miners Cemetery
One of the most famous advocates for the rights of miners was Mother Jones. She was once called the most dangerous woman in America. She died in 1930, and is buried at Union Miners Cemetery in Mt. Olive, the only union-owned cemetery in the United States.

Signing in was horrendous; took three calls and two emails. But once we were on the road the narrative was very interesting and I would use it for other trips if they have other selection for highway travels

Never received activation email. Side note did not realize it was st. Louis to Springfield thought it was only in the city. Re read description when trying to figure out how to do the tour.

OK, but when a road split, (not obvious which to take), the recording: “It appears you are lost.”, w/ no help, is a little irritating.
