Safety of flight is our primary concern. The operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or appear to be intoxicated. Intoxicated passengers will not fly and they will be charged in full.
For doors off tours, jackets and/or sweatshirts, closed toe shoes, and hair ties are required. Long pants are recommended.
When booking the doors off experience, your seat may or may not be directly adjacent to an open door.
Only passengers weighing 80 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Robinson R44 helicopter. Only passengers weighing 100 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Airbus Astar helicopter.
All passengers 24 months and older must purchase a full fare seat.
For each guest weighing 260 pounds or more, a weight and balance fee is required to safely balance the aircraft. For guests weighing between 260-279 lbs, a fee in the amount of 50% of the seat price will be assessed after booking. For guests weighing 280 lbs or higher, an additional seat purchase will be assessed after booking.

First time in a helicopter and it was everything I had hoped it would be. Thought the pilot could have provided more information. The website needs updating!! I saw only one flight time of 45 minutes that included Waimea Bay. The website also stated to wear a heavy jacket and hat because it's cold and no one wants to deal with helicopter hair. Upon arrival we were told no hats and to wear a sweater if we wanted. I was HOT wearing a sweater; the pilot was wearing a polo shirt. Our flight did NOT include Waimea Bay as that fell under the 60-minute flight, which wasn't an option on the site so I was disappointed because had the 60-minute flight been an option, I would have chosen that one.

The whole experience was awesome. Everyone was friendly I thought the wind would make the ride rough but the pilot Joey handled it great. This was our first helicopter tour and we will definitely do it again.

It’s a totally different experience seeing places from the air. It gives you a much greater appreciation of the island and its history
