This luau was super fun and entertaining. Right from the get go, the host pulls you in and gets you hyped for the show and activities. We started the day with visiting Sea Life Park which comes included depending on which luau package you choose. That'll be a separate review.
We also got upgraded seats and enjoyed an extra Mai Tai, a nice view of the stage, being first in line for food, and early access to the activities.
The food was great and as a buffet, you can definitely eat your fill. They did serve a limited amount of poi and lomi lomi salmon probably for two reasons, majority of the crowd may not enjoy these traditional Hawaiian dishes and would likely waste it and two, because of the heat, these items could spoil in a buffet setting. Either way, they served you the amount you wanted. Taste cups for newbies and right on your plate for the seasoned eaters.
The activities were nicely interactive and showcased just the right amount of Polynesian culture with headband weaving, ukulele playing, lei making, and Polynesian instrument playing.
The Hulu performances spanned across the Polynesian islands and big kudos to the dancers as they performed all of them through the night. Also, there's a fire show.
Don't wanna give away too much and will close with this is one luau to experience 🌺😎🤙
