I gotta say this Luau was really really awesome.
We came here using the GO OAHU CARD, and used this as our premium visit instead of using it for the Polynesian cultural center and we are glad we did that.
My cousin and her husband have done the Poly Center Luau before and said Ka Moana Luau was 10 times better then the Poly.
The food was good, the people were all friendly and very welcoming.
They have some activists to do like, making a Wrist Lei, making a head band out of coconut tree leaves, learning how to play a ukulele, getting a temp tattoo, and getting to shake some musical instruments they use on stage.
The ONLY complaint I have is after we got the tickets at the ticket counter to check-in with our GO Cards, is they pointed us in the direction to go, and when we got to the waiting area there was no one there to tell us what to do, we saw people sitting at what looks like a cantina type area for the sea life park, and we saw customers sitting around waiting, we were not sure what to do.
They should have someone telling customers what to do or where to go while waiting, they call you in by the color of your wrist band.
That’s the only thing that needs improvement.
But everything else was amazing!! The show was soo cool and interactive also, they ask people to come up on stage to perform with them.
The end of the show was totally cool too, there was a 15 year old boy that was doing the fire show, he was amazing. 15 YEARS OLD!!
I still give 5 stars to Ka Moana Luau.
