Imua Fishing Charters provides a first class fishing experience. From our seasoned captain, to our top of the line fishing boat, to custom tackle, no expense has been spared. We provide comfortable accommodations that can comfortably accommodate 6 anglers. We offer a full head (restroom), ample seating and full AC cabin. We are the premier fishing charter operating out of Kauai. We offer many different types of fishing including trolling for pelagic fish, live bait fishing and bottom fishing.

We could not have been in better hands than we were with Chaz and 'Ken'! We recently booked and went on the fishing charter, and had the time of our lives! The crew was the epitome of excellence. They described everything to us as they worked, showed us the various lures, poles, etc. They were able to not only answer every question, but also could provide the 'why' and 'what for' explanations. One day prior to our excursion, they called us to brief us on what to expect, direction on what to bring, how to get there, and to answer any questions we had. Once we were underway, they let us know what varieties of fish we might expect, where we would be fishing (depth) and the method of fishing we would be doing. As we were out fishing, they also pointed out various sites - whether it was of places of interest along the coastline, or whales (and there were MANY), dolphins, or other wildlife. I personally got quite ill from seasickness two-ish hours into the trip (note to self: do NOT drink coffee before going out to sea on a boat!), and the crew not only was exceptionally prepared for such a consequence, but checked on me often. One thing to note: Lighting along the route to the dock is scarce, so I highly recommend making the drive during daylight hours prior to your own trip. Once you arrive at the pier, you will have no problems finding their slip.

Beautiful day on the water. Unfortunately the fish weren’t biting but not for lack of effort on the part of our captain and first mate! We did see whales and a sea turtle, and learned a bit more about the island of Kauai. Two proud dads doing what it takes to provide for their families, wishing them both the best.
