Had the best time learning how to surf for the first time! The instructor was so fun and easy going. He was great answering my 10 yr old son’s questions. I loved my experience so much I booked it again two days later.

I was turning 48 during this trip and never surfed. Probably not in the best shape either. It's better to start at 28 I'm sure. I signed up for two semi private lessons. Was fortunate my first day there wasn't another booking so go to learn solo. My instructor Kai was very patient and helpful. I finally got up on my last run. 2nd day was with another person. But I still felt supported, and was able to get up a few times with his help. I decided to book a third day later in the week and again was able to get up and progressed. I felt very accomplished and was pleased with my results. My bucket list checked off. The location is good. There are reefs so if you wipe out you may get some minor cuts and scrapes. I did. But that's part of the deal. The waves though are easier here for beginners. Would recommend this outfit and Kai.

These guy were awesome—patient, positive, and gave everyone individual attention. My son took a few lessons from these guys during our vacation and feels ready to head to the North Shore with the locals!
