Enjoyable 2 hour raft tour of 2 snorkeling locations but overpriced for what is delivered. If you're expecting to see large amounts of fish and be up close and personal with them, pass on this trip. If you are looking for encounters with turtles, then this is the right trip.The highlight of the trip is the stop at the lava tubes where large amounts of sea turtles congregate. Amazing to swim among the turtles. The 2nd stop is touted as a guided tour of the largest gathering of fish in the area, however, I certainly would disagree. We were able to see more fish snorkeling right from shore at various beaches than at this stop. Guided meant Logan would shout out "tang" "moorish idol" "sergeant major" not exactly helpful when squinting at fish 35 feet beneath you. Captain Davey was knowledgeable, friendly and worked hard to keep everyone engaged and kept an enjoyable trip from being "meh".

Aloha Heather. Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts on our tour. I see that you actually didn't make your reservation with us, but rather through a concierge service. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over the price that these services offer. I know that some of them will mark their prices up and then offer a "discount" and some of them simply add on a 10% service charge in addition to the cost of the tour. We definitely do not support these actions and would certainly appreciate if you'd like to share with us privately what the total cost of your tour was with this 3rd party so we can address it or review our partnership with this concierge. Regarding the tour...as with all companies offering tours with live marine life we cannot ever guarantee anything. Marine life is wild and uncontrollable and will move about the ocean with its own free will. We have planned a tour we are very proud of based on the experience we can typically provide. You are correct...the green sea turtles are typically in abundance at this first location and many people do enjoy getting to see and swim with these majestic creatures. The 2nd location we go to, typically does have an abundance of tropical fish and is only about 20' in depth to allow us from the surface to see and enjoy their beauty too. Again, some days the marine life doesn't always show up...but our staff do strive to provide an enjoyable experience and tour from start to finish. I'm glad that you were able to experience that. Again, please feel free to contact us privately with the cost you paid as I would like to investigate that as we are the lowest priced tour of this kind on Kauai. Found Zodiac online & read all the reviews... did not disappoint! Our guides, Will & Davey were super knowledgeable about the area & extremely helpful. Will gave my daughter his swim mask because she was having some difficulty with hers & was very good about knowing everyone’s names & making sure we were all doing good. We saw a ton of turtles & even a small shark. They went out of their way to make sure the experience was amazing & it was! Would definitely recommend booking thru Zodiac! The picnic lunch at the harbor was a nice ending to a wonderful morning!

Our guide Logan and Captain Dave took great care of us as we explored the southern coastline and hit two different snorkel spots. Dave was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and recommended countless spots for surfing, food, and other adventures. Logan was great in the water and helped us find somewhere close to 30 sea turtles! Great experience and would recommend these guys to anyone.
