My husband has a prosthetic leg, the result of an accident in May 2019. We took a cruise at part of our new "normal" and signed up for sea kayaking since we both miss being out on the water and my husband is wary of our pedal kayak.
When we arrived at Southeast Exposure, our guide his is Polaris Ranger to transport my husband down towards the dock so he wouldn't have to walk so far. He also helped him into the front of a double sea kayak with me in the back to navigate, using the rudder pedals.
Once he pushed the kayak in the water, a cloud of joy encompassed us. It was pure magic! We had the most amazing time kayaking, looking at wildlife and coasting along Tatoosh Island.
Afterwards, we enjoyed homemade chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate.
I'm deeply grateful for the fantastic experience, knowledgeable and helpful guide, and wandering around Southeast Exposure afterwards to check out the zipline and other amenities. GREAT COMPANY 10/10
