Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.

We did the evening snorkel with the middle group of the night. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and fun, which made the experience even better. What stood out to me was the fact we were only a group of 6 (I believe their cap is 8 per group) you really fell connected and taken care of in that size. It was a sharp comparison with the other groups in the bay when there were like 20+ people per group. My only down side was that the rays were like 25ft from shore so I felt like I could have just swam out there but like they are wild creatures and of course that’s completely out of anyone control. Would 100000% recommend this company and activity

This was something I have wanted to do for years and I’m so glad I finally did. This company offered a great deal on Groupon and I had to make reservations more than a week in advance, but it was worth the wait. We were the first group of the night and had to wait awhile for the crew to launch their boat at the ramp and get everything ready. They gave everyone wetsuits which I didn’t think I would need but glad I had it because the water did get chilly after floating in the water for 30 minutes. The crew was friendly and helpful. Justin educated us about the mantas as we left the dock. Getting into the water from the boat was easy. We were given ankle floats to wear so that we would easily float on the water while holding onto a platform with built in lights that attracted plankton, which attract the manta rays. Right away we saw Lexi. She circled underneath us the entire time and came within inches of my face. There were 6 of us holding the platform plus Justin describing what we were seeing. Lexi was huge and a beauty. After 30 minutes in the water Justin swam the platform back to the boat & we were helped into the boat with a nice long ladder. 5 minutes later we were at the dock again. I highly recommend this company for the reasonable price, the friendly and very helpful staff, and for the unforgettable experience of viewing manta rays up close. AMAZING!

Incredible, (seriously) upclose snorkeling with Manta Rays! Our trip out was less than 5 minutes by boat, our viewing time was probably the max they advertised (40 minutes), but probably little more. The marine biologist in the water with us was a wealth of information and enthusiasm for these animals. We purchased a groupon for their night snorkeling with Manta Ray's and were completely satisfied with our experience. We walked from our hotel (Sheraton) down to their dock in less than 5 minutes. If you're visiting without a rental, this location is probably ideal. The owners sweet boys fishing off the docking area and the staff were professional and personable - it really couldn't have a more laid back experience. Please make sure you bring a little extra to tip - groupon is a a double-edged sword for these smaller family-owned companies.
