History and culinary worlds collide for a wonderful afternoon in Kona! What a great tour, Kai our guide was passionate, knowledgeable, and entertaining!

Food and drinks were good. Politics should NEVER be discussed by the tour leader. Religion (unless it directly relates to what we are viewing) should NEVER be discussed by the tour leader. It was very uncomfortable during the tour when BOTH of these subjects were brought up.

Aloha, thank you so much for the review, and for joining us on the tour! We agree that modern politics is probably best left out of any tour conversation! We do discuss religion briefly as we stop at the old Church, but mainly in a historical manner, for information purposes only. Our material gives history on the landing of the missionaries here and the effect that had on the local population and their original religion. We hope you did not feel that a particular religion was being denigrated though. Also, sometimes when a person in the group asks questions, a conversation can veer off a bit into opinion from other guests on the tour. We try to avoid this if possible. Many mahalos!

Great food especially Hawaiian poke. Guides, Kai and Kanakea were personable and informative. Gelato at the last stop was fabulous.
