Roam free on horseback through a beautiful Oahu cattle ranch located in Ka'a'awa Valley. Start by making the scenic and easy drive through the Hawaiian countryside to Kualoa Ranch on Oahu's northeast shore. Once at the ranch, take a 1 or 2 hour ride and travel through forests, past World War II bunkers and through the picturesque Ka'a'awa Valley.

Clancy was our guide and he was great. So informative and patient. The ranch is beautiful and being on the horse made even more special. My family did the Jurassic tour and they loved it too! I do t think you can pick a bad tour here

We unfortunately missed our tour time due to lots of road construction on the island… our tour was at noon and we arrived to the ranch right at noon. They have you start 15 minutes before the actual tour begins. Because we booked through a third party there was nothing that could be done. Instead they booked us (w no extra charge) on the jungle cruise! That experience was so much fun!! Our advice is make sure you build in more than an hour of travel time, in case there is construction. (It should take 45 minutes to drive from waikiki to kualoa) We wish we would have known it starts 15 minutes before the actual tour time. (This applies to all tour experiences) We still had a great visit to the ranch.

Gorgeous scenery for a horseback ride, great way to see that part of the island. There wasn’t as much movie stuff as I expended given the ranch’s reputation as Jurassic Valley but was a great activity on its own. Our guide Belinda was knowledgeable and friendly, very patient with the novice/nervous rider on our tour. One piece of advice: they have sturdy raincoats available for free at the stable. It was pouring rain when we arrived so we bought ponchos in the gift shop which turned out to be unnecessary totally for the ride.
