LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan
Użyj lasera, by porażać szkielety i ogry, aby uratować księżniczkę.

Kids (and those who act like them) will enjoy this mini-Legoland. There are only a handful of rides, but that is more than enough (combined with other activities) to keep kids occupied for a few hours. If there is one item that gives me pause, it is a bit pricy to me.

I had my son’s 6th Birthday party at Legoland and unfortunately, we ran into nothing but problems. The whole process was inflexible, and the treatment was poor. Most significantly, Legoland will not allow parents to walk into the facility to pick up their child – nor do they have any other solution as to how the parent of the birthday kid is supposed to deliver 16 party guests ages 6 and 7 (in my case) to their respective parent. Unless or until Legoland comes up with a process for allowing parents to reconnect with their child after the party I do not recommend booking a party at Legoland. Trust me, being responsible for 16 kids cut loose into a Great Lakes Crossing mall is terrifying. When I reserved the birthday party I paid for the minimum of 15 kids. Subsequently, about two weeks before the party, I sent in my final numbers which included additional kids. I was not asked to pay for the extra children ahead of time, despite being in email and phone communication with a Legoland party planner. As a result, I figured I would take care of any additional charges when we left. Nope. Not how it worked. Instead, my husband left the party room to wait for the last of the straggling party guests and they would not let him re-enter with the last 3 guests until he paid the price of admission! I was absolutely floored. My husband having no idea what financial arrangement I had worked out was stuck outside my son’s party with several guests unable to reenter. Finally, my husband was allowed to return to the party escorted by a security guard – who proceeded to pull me out of the party to handle the financial arrangements. I had to take time away from my son’s party to walk through the numbers with this lady to determine the final amount due. Legoland absolutely refused to allow me to handle the bill at the end of the party nor did they request final payment before the party started. Instead caused my husband and I to miss about 20 minutes (total) of my kid’s party over a total of $27. It was awful. A couple other things to be aware of: (1) You cannot bring in your own food. Don’t think they will allow any small exceptions to this rule (or any other rule). They won’t. (2) Despite knowing the age of the birthday boy (6), I was provided with Coke and Diet Coke to serve with the Pizza. I had to battle with the food lady in order to switch these caffeinated beverages for lemonade. This was the only battle that I won with Legoland – but it was a battle that would have been unnecessary had Legoland planned appropriately for the age of the scheduled party group. (3) The cake will not have your child’s name on it, nor are you allowed to use a candle. (4) The party room is pretty boring, and the free Lego set for each guest is tiny. All in, I have to say that Legoland’s inflexibility and failure to provide a functioning party plan (such as allowing parents to easily reconnect with kids, working out payment arrangements before or after the party – not in the middle, or serving age appropriate drinks) made this a pretty bad experience. I would not recommend it.

Took my son to LEGOland for his reward for accomplishing potty training! This adventure did not fail. A little bit of everything mixed with imagination from building your own LEGO car and racing them down a track to climbing and swinging from a LEGO jungle gym, to a fun filled 3D LEGO movie, cafe, store and ride!! My son cannot wait to go back. Fun for the whole family!
