Clover Brooke Farm Llama Alpaca Hikes

Your visit will begin with a brief tour of our farm and introductions to some of our smaller friends (i.e. chickens, rabbits, ducks, overly friendly barn cats ) with a short story of our 1850 homestead located in The Historic Hudson Valley on 25 bucolic acres . Next, Introduction to Llama/Alpaca 101 and why these soft and fluffy critters are the new Unicorn of animals. We will cover basic safety rules and answer any questions before we begin our trek. We will guide your Llama/Alpaca trek through gentle pastures, paddocks, past a stocked Bass pond and encourage Llama/Alpaca Selfies along the way. We hope to leave you a few minutes at the end to stop by the Farm Store and find a special farm memento. Please note that high heels and flip flops are not encouraged and bug spray is recommended. This experience is for ages 8yrs and older.

I took my 2 sons, ages 14 and 12 on the alpaca and llama hike. I am so happy that we did because it was an amazing experience. We bonded with the animals, we walked and talked with an amazing and inspiring family, and learned quite a bit during our time with them. If you are a parent with teens, I strongly recommend bringing them on one of these trips...Some good, healthy fun in nature away from technology. My boys really enjoyed it.

Lovely farm with lots animals to enjoy up close. Owner and his daughters were great and we learned a lot from them and had a fun time. Only negative was no restroom facilities with the closest ones being a 10-min drive away. Wish we knew beforehand.

Our visit to this farm was absolutely amazing, and it was a really nice way to get up close to some great animals. You get a great overview and tour of the farm, including llamas, alpacas, goats, and all the other animals roaming around. The alpaca and llama walk is educational and a lot of fun... the animals really have their own personalities and are gentle and fun to walk around with. The guides/owners did a great job and made this an extremely memorable experience. I would highly recommend this (and even would do it again!).
