The Lower Yough's guided/guide escorted tour travels 7.5 miles and travels through 22 class II- class IV rapids. Experience the unspoiled beauty of the Ohiopyle State Park's valleys and ridges. The guides will entertain, provide direction, and give assistance throughout your 5-hour day. Transportation will be provided back to the check in area.

Our family was part of a big group celebrating our friend’s 50th birthday. Our family included 2 adults, 3 kids ages 11 and 13. My boyfriend and I have been down this stretch of river several times before, with and without guides, and I will say that with Neal as our guide it was by far the best experience we’ve had. He judged each rapid perfectly, communicated directions clearly and decisively, and we had no difficulty getting into bad situations that we’ve gotten into before when not going with a guide. No-one even fell out! He was friendly and knowledgeable as well and was able to give us insights we’d never heard before about the area and the river. If you are considering rafting but wondering if you should get a guide, definitely go for the in-boat guide. The other guides with our group were also fantastic and did so much to ensure the safety and good experience of everyone in our party. Cleatus was the head guide for our party and was excellent as well. He gave us our safety orientation and drove us all back with lots of great info on hikes and history of the area. We felt very well taken care of!

Amazing! We had a larger group of 15 guys go for a bachelor trip. The team here was great! They set us up perfectly, answered all our questions and the best part got us out and rafting! Our guide Gabe was phenomenal!! I can not say enough good things about him. He was super knowledgeable about the river made sure we stayed safe and shared a good number of laughs with us. We were a very novice group but that was no problem for the guides on our trip. We cant stop talking about the experience and are already planning to come back.

The rafting trip with White Water Adventures was amazing. Justin was our guide, and Noah and Lucas guided other boats and they worked as an amazing team to keep the journey fun, and safe for everyone! Our family ranged from age 11 to 68 and everyone had a blast and our guide expertly navigated us so no one fell out and we never got stuck. We had so much fun. There are very calm points of the journey and we stopped at a small beach area to drink some water and there is a spot to jump off a 15-ft rock into deep water. We love this experience and this guide and group and would certainly recommend it to others! There is a dam that releases water to guarantee fun; and there are more people and higher water level on weekends. We did the tour on the last Monday in August and the town was quiet, there were not many other rafts, and we had an amazing time! Can't recommend our guides enough - they made the whole trip fun and easy!
