This serene nighttime adventure provides exclusive access to the villages of the Polynesian Cultural Center after they close to the public and features a controlled and safe water environment is one of a kind! No Waves. No Sharks. No Worries! Guided through a tranquil lagoon by moonlight, you'll be visiting the islands of Samoa, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, Tonga, and Tahiti on a stand-up paddle board or kayak that features colorful LED illumination in the water around you. For approximately 90 minutes your storyteller will share ancient Polynesian culture, legends and lore that will educate, entertain and enchant!

The guide was cool but I’m more frustrated with the “kayak” experience. Should have said “float in a kiddie pool” I was looking forward to kayaking not playing with toddler toys. False advertising on your part

We understand our cultural experience doesn’t meet the needs of guests looking for exercise and thrills. Our website and marketing does a good job of setting the expectations properly by using words like “tranquil” and “serene” and “float” “…serene nighttime adventure featuring a controlled and safe water environment at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Get an exclusive look behind the scenes and float around their lagoon on a stand-up paddle board or kayak. No waves, no sharks, no worries! Guided through the tranquil lagoon by moonlight, you’ll visit the islands of Samoa, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, Tonga, and Tahiti on a stand-up paddle board or kayak that features colorful LED illumination in the water!” Our advertising is spot-on. Sorry for your confusion. For high adventure kayaking we recommend call Captain Scott at Shaka Kayaks on the North Shore.

We absolutely loved our experience. We were late due to our plane turning around. Cousin worked with us and filled us in the 9 oclcok slot which was so nice. I’m so glad we didn’t miss it. If you know what Ohana means before you go he’ll give you extra points.
