Mackinaw City Parasailing

Parasailing is a water sport in which a person is towed behind a boat while attached to a parachute-like canopy. The parasail is suspended from a harness that is attached to the boat, and as the boat moves, the parasailer is lifted into the air and glides through the sky.

Parasailing in the Straits Area, you can see views of the famous Mackinac Bridge, see Mackinac Island from a distance and a birds eye view of the beautiful Lake Huron.

To participate in parasailing, you do not need any special skills or training. The activity is typically supervised by trained staff who will provide you with all the necessary equipment and instruction.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Is there weight restrictions? Yes, must be at least 125lbs and combined weight for flying tandem, no more than 450lbs. Wind and water conditions may allow for changes to these per the captain.

My sons were a little nervous but wanted to try parasailing. Once they were on the boat, Mackinaw Parasailing made them feel safe and secure as the crew explained how everything works. The boat was and equipment were clean and kept in great condition. My boys had a blast and I was able to ride on the boat to watch for $20.

I took my mother and my aunt there last weekend, we had so much fun. The crews are very nice and friendly, we really enjoyed our first time parasailing with them and would love to go back again.
