Parasailing is a water sport in which a person is towed behind a boat while attached to a parachute-like canopy. The parasail is suspended from a harness that is attached to the boat, and as the boat moves, the parasailer is lifted into the air and glides through the sky.

Parasailing in the Straits Area, you can see views of the famous Mackinac Bridge, see Mackinac Island from a distance and a birds eye view of the beautiful Lake Huron.

To participate in parasailing, you do not need any special skills or training. The activity is typically supervised by trained staff who will provide you with all the necessary equipment and instruction.

Is there weight restrictions? Yes, must be at least 125lbs and combined weight for flying tandem, no more than 450lbs. Wind and water conditions may allow for changes to these per the captain.

Although it was an overcast and chilly day, we still got to experience parasailing over the beautiful Lake Michigan. It was my husband and kids’ first time going. They loved it! The crew was accommodating and enjoyable. The view was breathtaking. If you and your family are looking for a great parasailing experience, check them out!

Treated my two girls to this super great adventure. The crew was so delightful, fun and just overall great guys! They even dunked my girls in the water for some great pictures and videos!
