I joined a small group of 'Made in Williamsburg' tour and Dom is amazing. He is nice and is very knowledgable with the history in Brooklyn. The shops he introduced us are all very interesting and food is amazing.

While my BFF and I had been to NYC many times, we'd never been to Brooklyn so I wanted a tour. I researched online and found this tour company and we hit the jackpot! Dom was born and raised in Brooklyn. Not only does he know his way around the DUMBO area and the intricacies of its history, he knows the shop owners and artisans who have made the DUMBO area great. During our 3+ hour tour (it was just the 2 of us, so Dom was kind enough to extend the tour) we were taken to Jacques Torres chocolates for free scrumptious candy, we met the owner of Leaf Stem, who gave us free samples of her essential oils, we met a leather tooler, and we visited the studios of Mark Jupiter, who makes furniture, and Craig Anthony Miller (CAM), a mural artist. We left our tour feeling like we were Brooklynites, too. Our tour ended at the Brooklyn Coffee Roasters for a much needed rest and recap! BTW, the tour starts across form Grimaldi's pizza - don't miss it - best pizza ever, even better than Italy! Thanks, Dom, for a wonderful and informative afternoon.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Made in Brooklyn Tour last Saturday! Dom was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Definitely a great way to get acquainted with the past and present landscape of the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn!!
