Here at Menchaca Chocolates we'd like to think we are adventurers continuing to re-define an ancient Pod found 150 miles from the equator. So we decided that to truly understand this magical bean you have to experience it through all your senses: taste, touch, smell, cracking and visual transformation. We developed these Chocolate & Art Workshops to do just that. You will get to know the possibilities and have a chance to make a custom unique Chocolate product and if you choose, design a label or Box to package it in. What a fun way to spend a few hours! You get to pick your chocolate from 3 options or mix and match all 3, you pick the size of the box you'll store your chocolate in, you get to decorate both, the chocolate and the box, you do a lot of tasting, and you leave with a beautiful box of chocolate and a memory to last a lifetime. The owners are lovely, they help you all the way and you get a demonstration of the chocolate making process. Highly recommend!!!

This was an experience to remember. This will do the trick if you're looking for something out of the ordinary. We had a fabulous time. The chocolate is delicious, and don't forget the tea.

Not 5 stars, but 5 to the fifth power! I wanted something different to do on a recent trip to Santa Barbara with my husband, sister and brother-in-law….you can only do so much wine tasting, dining and bike riding. Booking a chocolate making session at Menchaca’s was nothing like we had done before and it was so much fun!! Three kinds of chocolate, thousands of options to add to it, decorating the boxes it goes in and the ever charming Mr. And Mrs. Chocolate (Menchacas) made a very special memory unforgettable! We shared our story with everyone we met on our trip!
