This out and back trail to the Falls in Malibu is one of the most popular hiking trails among locals. The experience takes place on both paved and single track.
*Important Information
This tour is designed as both an e-bike and hike experience. The e-bike portion covers the distance between the parking area and the start of the hiking trail to save you time and effort.
Riders of all levels welcome no experience is necessary.We will fit you with premium electric mountain bikes so you can avoid the long dreaded 30 min walk to the start of the hiking trail.
On the way to the falls you’ll come across a forest of beautiful sycamore trees. Once we reach our destination you’ll have a chance to take plenty of pictures before heading back. This adventure will give you a whole different perspective of Malibu.

I had the PERFECT experience today with Jason! This excursion is a short mountain bike ride (VERY manageable-I was a total beginner & had no issues!) plus a lovely hike to a very beautiful & serene waterfall. There was plenty of time to enjoy some quiet moments at the falls & capture some great photos! Such a beautiful day enjoying the best of mother nature! Jason was very friendly & patient with me! I was a little nervous upon arrival about the biking but Jason reassured me & taught me everything I needed to know for a fun & safe day! I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to relax & enjoy the great outdoors!

Literally no biking- you bike from the parking lot to the trail so that was disappointing. We waited for our guide to finish swimming at the waterfall. Really not worth $500 for 3 of us to go. Way more hiking than biking- the upper waterfall was a difficult climb- not really for beginners.

Our Bike & Hike tour is designed to give our customers the best of both worlds—a premium electric mountain bike ride to the trailhead, followed by a scenic hike to the waterfall. We clearly state that this tour includes both activities. We’re sorry you found the second waterfall challenging, and I appreciate that you allowed me to assist you during the extra 30 minutes we spent there. The dip at the falls was an opportunity to enjoy a part of the experience that many find refreshing! We value all feedback to improve and clarify future customer expectations.

I feel the image is misleading and the portion where you actually ride the bike is like 5-6 minutes and primarily on paved concrete. That needs to described. The hike is one anyone can do alone, so it’s not really a unique experience, although it’s pleasant.
