Between the 7 rivers that make up the waterways in our county, we estimate between 1,200 and 1,800 Manatees throughout the year making up over 25% of the Manatee population that live throughout Florida. We saw several manatees including babies! They came up to the kayaks and very curious. We saw osprey and bald eagles along with other types of water birds. Drake was very personable and had all kinds of information about the animals and plant life in the area. It was a kind of experience that animal lovers want to have. I highly recommend!!!
