I founded and own HONEST ECO. With Kentucky bluegrass roots and a B.S. in Biology, I found a world with a blue sea too alluring to ignore. I arrived to Key West in 2005. Now I have 10+ years of experience studying Biology and being on the water in Key West. I now own a small business with my wife and 2 young kids. We are trying to make a big impact by educating and leading by example. I'm very passionate about being respectful to the wildlife and the environment

My family and I spent a week in Key West and saved this excursion for the end of our family vacation and I am glad we did as it was our highlight. We went on a kayak/snorkel Honest Eco tour. Evan was a great tour guide and captain! We had various levels of expertise and some were more comfortable in the water than others but it was perfect for all of us! We weren't able to go to the reef because of weather but we snorkeled the sponge garden instead. We still saw a lot of cool fish and sea life. While kayaking we saw lots of birds and loved weaving in and out of the mangrove channels. To top it all off, upon return, Evan lined us up perfectly to watch the sunset. It was magical. I loved this private time with family and highly recommend this tour,

Captain Evan took us out on a phenomenal trip that included kayaking, snorkeling as well as a nature tour. We chose this company again after having a great experience with them and Captain Stephanie in December. The smaller group size enabled Captain Evan to snorkel and kayak with the group, pointing out stingrays, sea turtles, birds and fish species that you miss when you're on your own with one of the larger companies. We'll definitely choose them again next time we visit Key West!

We reserved the afternoon snorkeling and kayaking tour as a group of 5 so we got the whole boat. They had fresh fruit cut up for us on arrival and in addition we enjoyed hummus, veggies, and sliced baguette on the way back. We went to a sponge garden for snorkeling and the captain went in and pointed out a sea turtle, squid, and lobster (this is obviously in addition to all the fish that were not hard to spot!). Then we kayaked through the mangroves in crystal clear water. It was a perfect day, the captain Evan was knowledgeable, extremely polite, and cute too! The owner Jen was easy to communicate with and made the booking seamless from our end.
