My girlfriend and I were visiting Key West for a long weekend. After a couple of days of bar-hopping and day-drinking, we were looking for something else to do. Our concierge recommended this eco-tour and we were pleasantly surprised! Our captain was friendly and knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area and was quick to point out different cool animals, plants, and trees. We took kayaks around a small island-extremely scenic and peaceful. Great value!

On a recent trip to Key West my daughter and I decided to take a tour on Nature Watch. We've been on other charter trips in Key West in the past but this was by far the best! Nature Watch offers snorkeling and kayaking with a refreshment break between adventures. We had such a great time we decided to repeat the trip a couple of days later. Both captains (Evan and Billy) were very knowledgeable and professional informing the guests on the environment and ecosystem. We saw several types of birds, fish, and mangroves. If you've never kayaked or snorkeled before, not to worry. Both Billy and Evan give brief but concise instruction on how to adjust your equipment and get in and out of those kayaks! They even get in the water and snorkel with you pointing out various underwater life; eels, fish, lobster, crabs, sea turtles and if you are lucky a shark or two! This is an adventure you do not want to miss! Thank you Nature Watch for making our vacation the best ever!!! Sandy C. Columbus OH

My wife and I visit Key West several times each year. We've been on numerous charter bout tours over the years and Nature Watch is as good as it gets. Our Captain, Evan, was waiting for us at the dock. He was friendly, funny and very knowledge about the local wildlife and the history of Key West. The boat was clean and comfortable. Fresh fruit and bottled water was provided for us. The Nature Watch tour only takes a maximum of 6 passengers, so there was plenty of room and we didn't feel crowded like we had felt in the past on some of the other larger discount charter boats in Key West. First we took a tour through the harbor of Key West on our way outlying mangrove islands. Evan loaded our kayaks into the water and gave us a brief lesson on kayaking basics. There was another couple on the boat that had never kayaked before, but Evan able to get them up to speed and get them comfortable on the water within a few minutes. We kayaked closer to the mangrove islands. It was beautiful and serene experience to get to see the mangroves up close. Evan shared a lot of information with us about mangrove ecosystem and pointed out lots of exotic birds and other kinds of wildlife that make their home there. After the kayaking tour we headed back to the boat and then made our way over to another location for the snorkeling portion of the tour. Again, the other couple with us were new to snorkeling, but again Evan was able to teach them the basics and got them snorkeling in the water in short order. Most other charter boat trips just give you a snorkel and send you out into the water on your own, but Evan got in the water with us and pointed out all kinds of fish, lobsters, conchs and sponges. It's really great having a experienced captain actually get in the water and point our the wildlife with you. After snorkeling we got back on the boat and enjoyed a delicious fresh fruit tray that Evan made for us to enjoy on the return trip to the harbor of Key West. We hung in the harbor at dusk. It was awesome to see all the lights on Key West on one side of you and the most amazing sunset on the other. It was the perfect end to an awesome day. I highly recommend the Nature Tour to anyone looking for a first-class and hands-on experience with the nature and wildlife Key West has to offer. There are other boats that are cheaper, but you'll be one of many people on board and won't have the personal experience that Nature Watch provides.
