Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers. We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted. Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

Absolutely fantastic experience from the moment we entered the shop. The lady on reception was so helpful and nice and made us feel really welcome. Our guide, (whose name I missed but it might have been Kevin?) was excellent and gave us loads of info on the ecosystem and wildlife we saw. This trip was definitely the highlight of our visit to Key Largo and we cant recommend Paddle Florida highly enough. Definitely worth every single penny. And a manatee swam right under my kayak !

Great little 2 hour tour into the mangrove the guide was fantastic the reception lady was great fun the trip was amazing.highly recommend

We did the “Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour”. Angela, our guide, was really great…very vivacious, lots of fun and also very capable in leading us through an absolutely amazing paddle through a mangrove forest. She was very good at explaining what the mangrove forests are all about, as well as other local flora and animals and birds of the area. The tour lasted a full three hours, which consisted mostly of paddling time but also ample time to just gather together to talk and learn about the area. The paddling itself wasn’t particularly strenuous – Angela’s pace was good and paddling within the mangroves is easy, with calm waters. The highlight (for me) was the section of forest where the channel was so tight we had to stow our paddles and just push ourselves along using our hands to grab the mangrove limbs....a very unique experience.
