I don't see my review so I'll try again. Our driver Chris was excellent! Was very happy him. The ferry ride was enjoyable as well. The 3 hour ride was boring and hot. NO A/C!! You'd think going to Martha's Vineyard would be a nice A/C bus, nope, it's an old retired military school bus...very uncomfortable. Our guide Tom was knowledgeable, but talked continuously about unimportant things not relating to Martha's Vineyard. Tom got mad at two people, even though they coughed up $340 for this, definitely not worth the extra money. He scolded them...TWICE for daring to whisper to each other. My wife and I didn't even hear them talk. Tom told us between 30-40 times that he was an extra in the movie Jaws. Once is enough Tom...we don't care! Then he talked about Obama 30 -40 times. talked about Clinton and how he was on Air Force One, even brought pictures to show everyone?? WHY? Is this a tour about Martha's Vineyard or Tom bragging about his life? Stick to the script Tom! Then he talked about Global Warming, felt like we were at a Democratic Convention. We left basically the same review elsewhere and I see the President Stephen M. Belcastro loves to degrade anyone who dares leave an accurate negative review. Any GOOD President would say, "I'm sorry the tour didn't live up to your expectations. I'm sorry Tom went off on a rant for three hours adding his life story. I'll talk to him and ask him to tone it down and stick to the facts about why people pay money in the first place. I'm sorry we had an old school bus with no A/C instead of a nice bus. Watch what comment Stephen M. Belcastro leaves on my very accurate review. Will he try and ridicule us or be professional?

Thank you for the review. Yes, you did already write a review of this trip and I already responded as I always do. I see you decided to write another under a different Trip Advisor account. Very Accurate review?? 30-40 times?? You counted??It's obvious this is all about politics which I would rather not get into as a professional. Tom talks about his meetings with Presidents of the United States that happen to visit frequently or live on the island. As a tour guide and lifelong island resident, he shares his personal stories of living there. Most guests really seem to enjoy them. As far as my review responses, you will notice that I respond to 100% of them, good or bad. It isn't about positive or negative reviews, it is about reviews that go out of the way to be mean spirited and insult my company or my employees or island partners. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, that includes me. I know how much work that I put in to building this very successful company. I know the time and effort that my employees put in to try and ensure a great day for our guests. The least that I can do is stand up for us and my response is my chance to do so. I see that you would like to be able to write your opinion (which is what it is) and I am just supposed to agree with it and say "I'm sorry". That's what you want? That's your idea of professionalism? I don't consider any of my responses to be degrading, they are just my side of the story. Why should you be able to write your side but I can't respond with my side? That doesn't seem very fair. I think that is what makes being able to respond to reviews a great thing. There are times when there could be two very different stories. I want our future or potential guests to be able to see both sides. I don't consider this to be my ridiculing of reviews. I consider it to be standing up for myself and my company, which is something that I always will believe in. Sorry if you feel otherwise.
Kind Regards,
Stephen M. Belcastro
