Overall, amazing experience from start to finish. Witnessing the beauty of the glacier and surrounding nature and views is an unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience. Accessibility: It’s for all fitness levels ; we did the hike which is fine for someone who doesn’t regularly exercise, and there are other tours where they take you to different parts of the glacier with a snowmobile/sled if you can’t hike. Also, our guide let us know that they can come get you in the snowmobile at any time if you don’t want to continue (which didn’t happen for our group). There was one narrow crevasse that made me anxious but it ended up being short and safe. Hiking poles aren’t needed and no one in the group had them but I could see them being helpful if you want extra support. Weather/timing: we got super lucky with sunny, clear skies and 17 degrees F. They were having a warmer winter than usual so this was rare for early March. If you layer up, you should be good. We were actually getting really warm as the hike went on. Additionally, we got to explore more parts of the glacier than usual because of the timing and weather. There are places you can’t access in the summer because that part would be water instead of solid ice that you can walk on. Guide: Petra was great and kept an easy pace for the group and stopped along the way for everyone in the group to get pictures. Clothing / equipment: they provided cleats to make it easier to hike on the ice, and they had other equipment like snow pants for those who needed them. Transportation and lunch: Lori took us there, was waiting to take us to lunch after, and dropped us off. She’s great - knowledgeable, fun, and down to earth. Lunch was delicious. Must-do if you’re in Anchorage!

lori was an amazing tour guide, she was very knowledgable and friendly and the tour was awesome. i would definitely reccomend 907 tours to anyone. the glacier was amazing and we got to hike around for a good few hours with plenty of opportunities to take photos. your group rides in this sled pulled by an ATV which was a fun experience too. the ice is a gorgeous blue color and it was even reflecting some green when I was there. we also got to drink the water there and it was super refreshing (no microplastics in sight). there were also plenty of stops for the bathroom, and the restaurant we went to for lunch after was really good and not too expensive. 10/10 would do again
