Nice good solid tour. Lori was our driver/tour guide (and she is also the current owner of the 907 Tours, as we understood it). It takes about 2 hrs to get to the glacier. Then you get to hike it - but not really as high or deep as we hoped we would. The glacier itself was, of course, magnificent and we lucked out with the weather.
After the hike, we went to the local restaurant for lunch - lunch fare is not included in the cost of the tour and we didn't know whether we'd find anything we liked, so we packed our own and ate it outside (with a lovely view). Lunch for the group took about 1.5 hrs (which is a bit long by our standards :))
The reason I'm giving this company 4 stars and not 5 is because the tour felt a tiny bit lackluster. I mean, you drive to the glacier, then you hike it just a little bit (we would have liked to hike at least 0.5 miles deeper into it), then you eat lunch and then you drive home. It almost felt like at the end of the tour there has got to be some sort of a surprise - like a surprise stop somewhere or a secret spot that visitors would find cool and memorable... I don't know. Just a suggestion.
Also, not a big fan of the van's seating configuration - you get 2 rows of seats of 3 and one row of seats of 4. So if you're a party of two and it's a full tour, you get stuck sitting with someone else other than your travel companion. (We got lucky though, nobody sat next to us this time.)
Would like to try some other tour with this company next time.
