Worth every penny. Our tour guide was Russ. He's a very good and experienced tour guide and can tell you everything about everything on the way up to the glacier. It was great to have him at the wheel instead of having to personally worry about driving conditions. When you get to the glacier, Russ will transfer you to a team of experts who lead you in a tour onto the glacier. They are amazing! Make sure you bring a tip for your glacier guide as well as a tip for Russ. After a few hours on the glacier, you go to a rustic little restaurant with amazing food and great views of the mountains & glacier. The meal is included and Russ kindly purchased us an extra appetizer to eat during the drive back. Russ was so great; I'd book another tour with him if I come back to Alaska. Tips: see the glacier in Winter because ice caves form and you can go into them. Also, call to confirm your booking after you've purchased it. I booked very last minute and there was a little hiccup in the beginning; I should've called to confirm.

It was quite the experience despite the ongoing of COVID. I was picked up by Russ who gave a great explanation of everything that goes down around Anchorage/Palmer. When we got there, a guy named Keenan (I believe) took over for the guided glacier walk which was incredible to witness. You definitely should have some mobility to do the walk up and down the glacier. Afterwards we got lunch at the Long Rifle Lodge which was stellar and made a few stops on the way back for pictures. Overall, both guides were incredible and knew what they were doing to make it a great time!

Glacier walk was an amazing experience- once in lifetime. Our Tour guide, Russ, was also great. Not only was he very knowledgable, he was willing to go out of his way to make sure that we saw as much of Alaska as we could and that we had a great time. Highly recommend.
