My 13 and 15 YO boys, who had a vague familiarity with Elvis before the tour, were entertained and engaged the whole time. Our guide was Eric Hughes, a talented and entertaining musician who grew up in Memphis (and plays the clubs on Beale street in the evenings). He was funny and knowledgeable, and a darn good performer to boot! Well worth the 90 minutes of our time and the price of admission. We all had tambourines and “shakers” to play along with the musical journey. Great time!
We also did the “Sun Studio” add on. Interesting tour mostly because Lahna, our guide, was able to make two 500 square foot rooms into the most important place in music history with her story telling style.
If you’re only going to do one thing in Memphis (as we did since we were just in town for one night), this is a great choice!!
