Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Watching Tour

Although we are the original whale-watching company in Juneau (operating since 1994), we are still small and family-owned and operated! We want you to feel like part of the family, and we pride ourselves on prioritizing local hires in order to give back to our community and give you the best possible tour experience. We want our guides to love Juneau as much as you do!

Our fleet consists of only mammal-friendly jet boats, and the small size and intimate setting will make you feel right at home with the whales.

We pride ourselves on our quick transfers between vehicles! We don't want you to wait any longer than you absolutely have to!

The tour guides Max and Carol were great! Very knowledgeable,funny, and friendly. We saw many whales and sea lions. They provided hot chocolate as well as snacks. We were very happy with this purchase. We felt like it exceeded expectations.

I can't recommend this tour enough! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Our journey began with Matthew, our driver, who immediately set the tone for the day with his extensive knowledge. He made the drive informative, ensuring we were fully engaged as we made our way to the stunning Mendenhall Glacier. The glacier and waterfalls were truly breathtaking, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and awe-inspiring scenery. But the true highlight of the day was the whale-watching adventure. Captain Nick and Rico were outstanding hosts. Nick, stood out with his deep knowledge of the best whale-watching spots and Rico with his infectious sense of humor, which kept everyone in high spirits throughout the trip. Seeing these majestic creatures up close was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, made even more memorable by the wonderful crew. This tour exceeded all expectations and provided an incredible way to experience Alaska's natural wonders. If you're planning a trip to Alaska, this is a must-do!

Rico was a fun guide on the whale tour- he quickly found the whales and got just as excited as us first timers ! It was fun being on a jet boat (really fast). The glacier was a nice stop as well.
