Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. The trip was amazing with great close up views of the glacier on a beautiful day. Rowing the canoe was enjoyable work with the great crew of guests led by Jordan and Shayla, who were awesome and fun guides!!

Sophie and David provided us an excellent adventure on the water and at the glacier. This is the only trip That will get you close enough to take a Selfie with the glacier! Knowledgeable and entertaining —and canoeing to boot!!

The view of the glacier was spectacular. The lake was calm and it was a beautiful day for hiking and glacier viewing. Our guides - Shayla and Jordan- were engaging and knowledgeable. They made the trip so enjoyable! Highly recommend!!!
