Jhon was a wonderful host from the moment we booked the tour. He arranged to pick us up from the cruise ship, toured us all over Miami and out to the Everglades. His knowledge was endless! The beauty of having someone else take you around allows you and your family to enjoy the sights vs trying to navigate around a unknown city (directions, parking, safety, research, etc.). Saved time and stress! Favorite was the Everglades. It was the perfect amount of time to get a feel for the park and nature while having a cool boat ride to top it off! Highly recommend. Make your vacation a little more stress free and book with Jhon! He is worth it!!

Last minute we booked a tour with Jhon the day we were leaving, and even though we needed to be to the airport by 1:40 he made every minute with him worth while and even taught this teacher many things! We spent a wonderful day learning, experiencing and discussing Miami, the surrounding communities, and the environmental gem/river known as the Everglades. Before today, we didn't know anything about the Miccosukee Tribe, but we learned how they are an integral part of the Everglades and its' rich history. We had the privilege of a 1 hour airboat ride and saw abundant wildlife, including gators, cranes, egrets, and the plant species indigenous to the Everglades. We even got to hold baby gators rescued from the area intended to be raised and then released back to the wild. Jhon's breadth and depth of knowledge of the culture, architecture, styles, art, music, food and geography revealed that he believes passionately in bringing all that the Miami experience has to offer. I would highly recommend him and this tour to anyone -We plan to use him again for another tour when we are back in town. There is SO much to learn!!

Neighborhoods visited included the Holocaust Museum and Monument (sobering), South Beach, Wynwood (the art was incredible!), Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Little Havana (the food, sounds and people), Brickell, Key Biscayne and then out to the Everglades. Before today, we didn't know anything about the Miccosukee Tribe, but we learned how they are an integral part of the Everglades and its' history. We were given a 1 hour airboat ride, saw abundant wildlife, including gators, cranes, egrets, and the plant species indigenous to the Everglades. We even held baby gators rescued from the area, raised and then released back to the wild.
