Have a great time in Atlanta’s thriving foodie scene on an fun walking food tour complete with alcohol/food pairings and eat like a local at well-known establishments and hidden gems. Our small groups of 4-15 guests create an intimate, boutique experience (leave the herding to the farmers!) and get you closer to your entertaining foodie host, restaurant partners and your fellow food enthusiasts. Dine on a mix of Southern classics and cuisine unique to beloved Midtown. The progressive meal is enough for lunch or dinner with the added benefit of learning Atlanta's history and local tidbits that will make you feel more acquainted to Atlanta in a short 3 1/2 hours.

Once you go on a food tour you will never visit a city again without searching for food tours!! That's me now, I'm hooked. This food tour was amazing!! John was an incredible tour guide. We learned so much from him about the city and the food. He takes his time, it's not rushed. Lots of great food and stories. You can tell John truly loves his city and sharing it with you. This was a wonderful experience!!

Hi Teresa! Thanks for the wonderful review...but also thanks for suggesting a Food Tour to the rest of your crowd.You all had a busy time in Atlanta with the Fox Theater AND the Shakespeare Theater...and wandering around my neighborhood eating and drinking. :) Lots of food! Lots of fun! You all live close enough to make another trip this year and when you do, just holler. I always have suggestions for terrific food and great local fun! Maybe even more importantly, I definitely see more Food Tours in your future! The most frequent comments I hear are, "Why didn't we do this before?" and "We have to do this again!" Trust your TA folks as their reviews are informative...and balanced! My best to all of you! John

This was our first food tour. I was skeptical at first but my wife and I had an amazing time. John did a great job of taking care of us. Its was like visiting family and having them take you to their favorite restaurants and them picking up the tab. It was nice just to be able to walk into a restaurant, sit down and enjoy the experience. In addition to great food you also get a history lesson. John knows the city well and enjoys sharing his knowledge with us. Truly a memorable experience. John needs to change his company name to "Peachtree Gourmet Food Experience"

Ha! Don's review made me chuckle! As almost 80% of my guests haver NEVER been on a Food Tour, Don is a classic. He went from a skeptic...to a good sport...to a huge fan! Food, booze, and fun! That's a hard combination to beat. Would you like more about "classic Don"? At the end of the Food Tour I heard him say more than once, "Wow! We need to go on more of these things! What a great way to get to know a city!" And another "classic Don"? The next day on my Sunday Tour, there sits Don with his lovely wife L. in one of the restaurants that's on the Tour. Except this time it's not just a "taste", the whole table is covered with food! My advice? Be like Don!! Thanks for the fabulous review! Some of the facts above are changed to make it a better story...which is pretty true of my entire Food Tour. Just sayin...

John is an excellent story teller, and works hard to make everyone feel welcome. He creates a group dynamic that assists in the overall enjoyment of the experience. He has chosen excellent restaurants with outstanding food and personable wait staffs. His inclusion of adult beverages creates an enjoyable tour without getting too rowdy. Would that other food tours in other cities had followed this model - alas, you will just have to go to Atlanta and experience this tour to see what all food tours should be like.

TA Readers: David is a great example of of why I love doing my Food Tours. After every Tour I send to my guests a Thank You email. It's filled with photo links to every one of our restaurant stops (so you don't have to remember a thing!) as well as fun photos of the group taken on the Tour. I always view that email as a wonderful reminder of the little adventure we shared on Peachtree Street. David responded to the Thank You email by sending me several thoughtful observations that would make my Tour even better! Wow! The fact is several of my guests over the past 18 months have done the same thing...for which I am truly grateful. As is much in life, you don't get far without listening! Thanks, David! Let's do this again...so I can show off my "new" Tour!
