Castle Valley is the poster child for western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a movie, TV show, or commercial. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful red-rock canyon. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall.

You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

My partner and I ended up getting a raft to ourselves, which was pretty awesome. Our guide Ashley was wonderful - she was very knowledgeable and fun and made us feel very safe the entire trip. We would have loved it if there were more rapids but given the current weather conditions I believe Ashley made the most of it for us! I highly recommend if you want a fun and relaxing trip down the Colorado while learning some fun facts.

We had such a great time! It was a perfect mix of outdoors, viewing, history, geography, jokes, adventure, etc. Gavin did an amazing job!!!!!
