Thank you for putting this self guided tour together during these COVID challenging times. We would likely have taken the bus tour, but this was a good alternative to that.
I think this is a nice affordable way to get an overview of Montgomery. We are first time visitors to Montgomery, so the information provided was new and valuable to us. The information for each site was well researched and often times includes discussions by people who lived through the civil rights era. So once we located a site, the information provided was well worth the price that we paid for this tour.
There are three things that would greatly improve the self guided tour. First, it would be very nice to number the stops. I know it's self-guided, and we could theoretically see things in any order, but there is likely an efficient way to see the sites, and being able to follow the sites in a suggested order would be very helpful. Also we aren't completely confident that we saw all of the sites, since they weren't numbered and it's hard to remember which dots we clicked on and saw. Secondly, in a similar vein, it would be helpful to show a suggested route on the map. I felt like we were backtracking a lot. It's not a large city, and most of the sites are relatively close together, so it's not a show stopper, but it would make following the tour easier. Third, it would be nice if the address was included for every stop. For a couple of stops I looked up the address so that I could find it, but that involves closing out of the app, looking up the address on google, and then reopening the app. The definition of patience. If I had an address I could simply enter that into my cars GPS.
We used a similar app for a self guided tour of Houston. That app knew our location and gave us directions as we drove, which would be great (it also told stories as we drove between sites, much like a tour bus would do), but I recognize how hard that could be to setup. Numbered sites, an address and suggested route should be enough though.

Thank you for taking the tour, I'll look into your suggestions, but I'm so pleased you enjoyed the content. When we built this webApp we thought that maybe people would look beforehand and see what they wanted to visit and do it that way, but we are all different and your views are most welcome.
