Very educational, beautiful views of the Vista house, two falls and Mount Hood. Our guide Steve was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. He grew up in the area and shared many facts that other guides probably would not have known. Recommend that you ask for Steve to be your guide. Have fun
Wonderful tour with knowledgable guide. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the tour.
Carrie, our guide was so cool, she made this an excellent tour. It was so amazing I really loved the waterfalls and all of the beauty that Portland has to offer. We would have never found all of this on our own. We did have a mishap though, due to no fault of Carrie. At the end of the tour going up the stunning Mt. Hood. There was a lot of snow. It was so awesome that some people on our bus had never seen snow before. One women was complaining that it was taking too long, well there was a lot of amazing snow and beauty but people in their vehicles were getting stuck. I wouldn't take this trip if you actually have to be back at a certain time. I am from Wisconsin and know that you can run into anything in the snow. Well all I could think of was to get out and push the cars, as we do that for others in our state, then we needed a bit of a shove. Sadly we never got into Timberline lodge. It was too much of a major risk and I understand that. I am sure the complaining person on the tour would have piped up again even after all of that. It turned out that the rest of us got so attached to each other. It was honestly a wonderful day. Next time I will go back and go again to see Timberline Lodge.. Thank you Carrie, you made it fun, you reacted professionally and it is a trip we all said we will never forget. It was totally the best. One more thing, when they say they are going to have a tour that day , they do. I would never go on other tours but this one. Kudos to Carrie and everyone on the tour. It was great.
