We had an excellent day in Charleston, starting with our trip there. The bus was on time and stuck to his time table through out the day, ensuring we got to each activity on time. We really enjoyed the horse and carriage tour thru some of the older streets seeing some of the beautiful old homes and learning the history of them. Then onto our harbour tour, Captain Nick was quite entertaining! We were delighted to see the dolphins playing along side the boat. Our box lunch was delicious! Then on to the Boone Plantation, our tour guide of the house was very informative. I just wished we’d have had more time at this spot, the 2 hours went by so fast! Great day

The wife and I had a very enjoyable outing with Charleston Adventures. We rode their bus to Charleston from Myrtle Beach. The first stop was a horse drawn carriage ride through historic Charleston. It was a very good ride and very informative of the towns history. The boat ride and provided lunch was also really good. And, we enjoyed our last stop at Boone Halls Plantation before heading back to Myrtle Beach on the bus. I highly recommend this tour! Well worth the money!

Looking for a great way to visit Charleston without having to drive myself, I found Charleston Adventures in one of my local Myrtle Beach attraction guides. I looked it up and the itinerary was well thought out for maximum enjoyment in one day. The pick up point was close by, the bus was ready and waiting and clean as a whistle! Our driver, Henry, was great! It was a relaxing drive down the road and he made sure to mention points of interest along the way. Arriving in Charleston was a breeze and out horse drawn carriages were waiting for us. We embarked on a delightful one hour tour through the historic area and were captivated by the architecture, history and legends delightfully shared by our driver. Nest was off toe the Harbor for an hour tour on the Carolina Belle. Our Captain and guide was an endless front of knowledge, information, anecdotes and jokes. It was a great time (and included a delicious box lunch!) Next, we headed up the road to the Boone Plantation with all its amazing history and beauty. As luck would have it, the power went out, but the plantation staff never missed a beat. From the delightful tour of the mansion (the 4th!) with Miss Margaret, the beautiful gardens, a heart-tugging walk down Slave St to the wonderful presentation of Gullah music and history by a local, beautiful Gullah woman, Boone Plantation is a must stop. The best things we came away from with this wonderful day trip were all the places we'd like to visit more in depth on our next! GREAT, stress free, well done bang for your buck. Highly recommend!
