This was a very nice and informative day trip. Would recommend for anyone that has never been to Charleston. So much history there!

Disappointed that our carriage tour didn’t take us past the really beautiful mansions Of Charleston that I saw on previous tours Otherwise the tour was well planned

My family and I enjoyed our one day bus trip to Charleston from Myrtle Beach. The carriage tour was good- highly recommend you take the tour in the morning if it’s going to be a hot summer day. Next we were taken to the harbor tour. That too was very good as well as the boxed lunch (sandwich, fruit cup, cookie, and beverage). Note: A vegetarian option was available and my son gave it 2 thumbs up. The trip to the market was OK, they mostly specialized in the handmade baskets which were a little pricey but understandable due to the amount of work that goes into making them. Last our trip to the plantation was also nice. I wish there had been more time available at the plantation because we did not have an opportunity to tour the entire plantation to see how it issues today. I was also a little disappointed to learn that the main plantation home was recently re-built in 1936. It’s supposed to be a replica of what the original house would have looked like.... but I would have preferred the real thing as was the slave homes that were still remaining on the property. Last I want to comment on our bus driver. He was a very nice and very professional gentleman but I would prefer a bus driver that is knowledgeable about the city of Charleston and can speak to it while we were driving around the city going from one venue to the next. This was the only reason I did not give a rating of five out of five.
