Located on the West bank of the Mississippi in the heart of Plantation Country – the main house dates from 1805 and has been restored to the time when it functioned as both a family home and the office for the sugar plantation. Visit the raised basement and galleries, men's and women's parlors, service rooms and common rooms. Walk through the 200-year-old sugar plantation homestead, including 3 gardens: Jardin Français, the kitchen potager & BananaLand grove. Continue the tour on the grounds with 12 buildings on the National Register, including animal barns, overseers' cottages and the 1829 Maison de Reprise. Hear intimate stories about four generations of free and enslaved members of the Creole families who lived here.

we were picked up on time from our hotel, Dionne, the driver gave us great commentary all along the way to and from the plantation. if was such a relief to have a guide who was not making ridiculous jokes, or trying to be an actor. just facts, history, and ready to answer our questions the plantation tour is with a guide from the plantation. she was just excellent also. gave us tons of information all along the walk through the gardens and buildings. the tour is fantastic because it it told through the generations of the families who lived there. i would highly recommend this company.

The tour was amazing. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and super personable. The tour was full with culture and history with a balance of fun. I will definitely be recommending family and friends. It was such an incredible experience.
