I'm not much one for sitting around listening to travelogues so I thought this walking tour would be perfect for me, info on the move. We met at Ernest Tubb's record store and about ten minutes in, I wasn't so sure I'd made the right decision. Kaysie was charming and knowledgeable but the first part of the tour is devoted to talking about the stars on the walls of the store. Slowly, because of Kaysie's enthusiasm, I was sucked in and, when the tour left the store twenty minutes later, I was way on board. Fantastic tour -- you really feel like you're a part of Nashville's history -- and it gives a great overview of things you may want to dig a little deeper into. It's not too much walking, with plenty of stops for restroom or shade, and Kaysie makes sure everyone is as comfortable as possible (in 95 degree weather with 80% humidity, she made sure we stayed in the shade wherever possible). Whether you're just in Nashville for a little while or you're on a lengthy vacation, I'd highly recommend this tour as a way to start your trip. At the end, I was absolutely in love with Nashville (and Kaysie!).

Kaysie is just about the nicest, most genuine person I have ever met in my 51 years. My holiday weekend visit to Nashville highlight was the Famous Footsteps walking tour. My 13 year old daughter and I were blessed to get a private tour of downtown Nashville around Broadway. Her tips and tricks were instrumental (pun intended) in assuring that out visit was unforgettable. At her advice we purchased the All Access Pass which allowed us to visit 4 attractions and save a bit of $. She also pointed out the clean restrooms, good eats & places I could bring my daughter for music in the 21+ zone. I assure you this tour is a MUST DO!

Kaysie was an excellent guide! She was very knowledgeable and you can tell she genuinely loves Nashville and its history. So glad we went on a walking tour with her!
