My family and I went on this ghost tour as a birthday present to my dad who loves Halloween. If you’re looking to learn about some haunted history of New Haven, this tour is for you! We stopped at maybe 7 or 8 spots on the tour and were told stories about that spot and some famous ghost stories. We were very pleased with how knowledgeable the tour guide was (can’t remember her name). Even a little sprinkle of rain to start the tour didn’t phase us! Would go again!

Great tour with lots of history. Tour guide was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and fun. Perfect tour for people who are new to the hair.

When we got to the meeting place for the tour, our guide was there just scrolling on her phone. She asked if we were there for the ghost tour then went straight back to her phone. When she started the tour (15 min late) she didn’t introduce herself (I still have no idea what her name was), didn’t welcome us, just told us to follow her across the street. She really seemed not to care about giving a good tour at all. Her story telling often failed to connect the dots unless someone asked. Why does Cornelius Vanderbilt’s ghost haunt a Yale dormitory? I asked, but I’m not sure she knew the answer, other than the building is named after him, which doesn’t really make sense. I could go on, but you get the picture. The tour was advertised as 90 minutes but ours barely lasted 60 minutes. Not worth the money.
