I told Ren at the beginning that while my wife taught criminal justice, I wanted to reaffirm my faith in human nature. Having a good sense of humor, Ren went with that as a running joke. His entertaining narration told stories from the far to recent past, which gave a unique insight into the many facets of NOLA history. We ran into many large walking tours, which made me appreciate having our tour guide to ourselves. Ren was very generous with my questions, and could have gone on longer than the 2+ hours but my wife was pooped from a long day. When we got home we recalled his tales, and it was fun to google some of them. Well done, Ren!

What an awesome experience! We learned so much about the criminal history of new orleans and had a lot of fun doing it. Ren is knowledgeable and engaging. We would definitely recommend to anyone!

This tour was great! We wanted something different that was a night tour but not a ghost tour. This tour was a great option. Our tour guide was great! We would definitely recommend this tour.
