My sister and I met our tour guide Bruce on a very cold morning in early February and he kept us laughing and moving so much that we (barely) felt the cold at all.It was a small, very international group of intrepid souls who gathered, which made it very fun for all of us. We never could have seen as much or tried so many different foods if we had tried to do it on our own. Knishes, dumplings, mozzarella, prosciutto, and more with a little background about each and tons of historical facts about the lower east side. Bruce was fantastic and it's obvious he loves his city. He made it fun, and was super organized. He allowed time for questions and photos and then always said "let's rock and roll". We had even left a package behind at one of our stops and he made sure we were able to get it back. A huge highlight of our quick trip to NYC was this tour. I highly recommend it if you want to know more about the early immigrants to NYC and their foods. A+
