Interesting and fun way to spend a morning in NYC. We had both locals and tourists on our tour and everyone learned something new and sampled some favorites at spots you may never have discovered. Olivia was our tour guide and she is a gem! She gave a great overview of the various cultures that immigrated to NYC, showed the areas they claimed as home and knew many interesting facts about the buildings, neighborhoods and challenges an immigrant faced. Highly recommend!
Felt that the price we paid, the food that was offered would be a lot better.
Lots of interesting history shared. Lots of walking, ate on the sidewalk for the first food taste of the tour and quite honestly not very enjoyable. First taste should be breakfast related in a sit down environment for the 10 am tour. Not really enough food tastings and the food we got was minimal not exactly adequate when the description of the tour suggests you come hungry to the tour. Not enough opportunities to sit down and rest between stops. Our tour was a group of 15 people which seemed a little excessive, the guide did his best to get to know all of us but it seemed rushed every time he came our way. Also he lead sharing info with the people closest to him so those of us in the back of the pack didn't get to hear everything that was said. Overall not one of the best tours I've been on, as much as I enjoy history I honestly enjoy eating good food more and the food on this tour was not that good.
