The Asian looking man who was incharge of checking tickets was very unprofessional and rude. When I tried to ask him a question and called him, he rudely aked, What's up?!! I asked him if that is how you address clients these days. Quite I paid my money for me and a family of 4 adults and a young toddler, 18 months. I later forund out he was asking the age of the baby at entry point. He is completely ridiculous, as he let people stand in the line and didn't bother to inform them that they must exchange their vouchers for regular tickets. These were obviously mainly tourist and he waited until they got to the front of the line to send them back for a long walk to the ticket booth. Just mean and cruel in the cold and windy afternoon by the water! He was too busy chillin' out to interact and make sure the guest are ready and prepare for entry. The announcer Matthew was decent, this is why I am giving the two, otherwise, a waste of money! Unprofessional!
My daughter and I both got choked up when talking about our ancestors arriving at seeing the Statue of Liberty. Having left their home countries and families and culture and coming to America with great hope for the future. The only glitch was we didn't realize we needed to stop at the ticket booth to present our voucher. My granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed the cruise itself and learning about our family history.
The tour was more than amazing..took great photos and the tour guide was excellent in his knowledge and was very amusing..well done. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting new york
