I went on the Sunset Sailing Cruise on the Schooner Adirondack with my family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) at the end of October. It was an unforgettable experience and definitely a highlight of our New York trip. The sunset was absolutely stunning. From the boat, you get an excellent view of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. Highly recommend booking this!

This was a lovely experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat!! The crew were charming and helpful and it was fun to watch them hoist the sails and move around the boat effortlessly. We packed light, both of us just had a phone on us, that was it. That turned out to be a good call, carrying a purse would have been a hassle. The boat wasn’t overcrowded so we could move around and get photos. The sun set during our trip so we got to enjoy the various stages of the light was incredibly beautiful. We got the 5:30 time slot and that gave us time to enjoy the sail and still get back across the city at a reasonable hour. The pier is within walking distance of the subway, wear good walking shoes. And there is a great cafe near the pier for a quick treat before boarding. We had a lovely time and made some memories! Thanks to the crew for being so helpful, informative, and interesting!
