Enjoy a fall foliage cruise aboard Yacht Kingston, a cozy, elegant, 1920s-style yacht with an observation cabin and open bow. See the grand foliage of the Palisade Cliffs on the Hudson River (nature permitting). Relax in the salon of the boat's window enclosed observatory, or while catching the breeze on the open bow. Grab a hot beverage from the bar and gaze at New York's most dramatic natural wonders and colorful foliage as the seasons change. Light commentary will be provided as the boat cruises north along the Hudson River. Seating is assigned in the covered and heated salon with large windows. *Please note that although the boat is heated, it is also drafty and we advise you to bring layers, hats & gloves.

Peak fall foliage is not guaranteed. We have seen fall colors at their peak as early as mid-October and as late early December along the waterfront in the Palisades of New Jersey (the prime destination of our fall foliage excursions). Refunds due to ‘lack of color’, will not be honored. Cruising on the Hudson River, north by the Palisades, is a unique and interesting route and is the declared value of this excursion.

Great boat ride up the Hudson. Boat was small so not too many people and easy to go out on the front deck. Leafs weren’t at peak but still enough color and pretty. That’s always hard to predict. Staff were great and generous with their drinks and snacks. All and all a lovely time was had by all. The only criticism is that they could go a bit further up the river and make the ride longer.

Autumn colors were not yet quite at their peak, and in general the cruise was more of seeing Manhattan than the Palisades. Nevetrheless it was a most enjoyable theree hours with a very skilful captain and her mate. The boat was small enough to create a cousy athmosphere with the great panoramic views of both sides of the Hudson River.

Took the fall foliage tour to Cold Springs. Even though it was a cold and dreary day, the tour was great. Heidi was informative and funny., a good addition to the ride. The ferry was comfortable and the crew members were extra attentive because of the slippery conditions. I loved the guided tour on the boat and the time to hang out in Cold Springs. Getting back to the pier at night and seeing all the city lights was magical.
